About Us

About Nature Daddy

Nature Daddy is a Canadian outdoor brand built by Eric and Yannick — two outdoorsmen based out of Calgary, Alberta. We document real bushcraft, real survival skills, and real backcountry trips across Western Canada. The apparel here is the gear we wear when we're filming, building shelters, running winter camps, and putting in real time outside.

The brand in one paragraph

The bush does not care about your Monday. We build apparel for people who actually go outside — Canadian winters, mountain shoulder seasons, mosquito-thick spring lakes, the whole thing. Field-tested. No BS. Each design comes out of trips we actually run, and each piece is named after something specific from the field — Wild Ones, Backcountry Daddy, Nature Mama, Trailblazer.

How we make our gear

Nature Daddy is a registered Canadian corporation (Nature Daddy Inc., Calgary, Alberta), and we run as a print-on-demand operation through our manufacturing partner, Printful. Here is exactly what that means:

  • We design every product ourselves.
  • Every order is produced after you place it. Your hoodie didn't exist yesterday.
  • This adds a few days to fulfillment (typically 2–5 business days for production, plus shipping).
  • We don't sit on inventory, we don't waste material on items that won't sell, and the line evolves with feedback from the Wild Ones community.

We're open about this because POD has a reputation problem in the apparel space, and most stores try to hide it. We do the opposite. The model lets a small Canadian outfit make high-quality apparel without warehousing or minimum-order pressure — a fair trade if you know what you're getting. See the Shipping Policy and Refund Policy for exactly how the timing and returns work.

The ecosystem

Nature Daddy is more than a store. The apparel is one part of a creator brand that includes:

  • YouTube — long-form bushcraft, survival, hunting, fishing, and trip videos at @naturedaddy
  • Instagram — field shots and Reels at @naturedaddycollective
  • Facebook page — Reels and broadcast at Nature Daddy
  • Wild Ones — our private Facebook group for Canadian outdoor people sharing real trips, real gear, and real conditions: join here

If you're new here, the YouTube channel and the Field-Tested Gear Guide are the best places to understand what we do.
